Landed home rentals to recover in 2025, luxury segment to slow: report
The brighter economic outlook will drive the rebound this year.
Landed home rentals are generally expected to recover in 2025 in view of the brighter economic outlook, PropNex reported.
According to PropNex, there were 1,999 leasing contracts for landed homes recorded in H2 2024, collectively valued at over $21.3m.
The top landed home leasing deal in H2 2024 was for a GCB in Bishopsgate, which fetched a monthly rental of $120,000 or more than $1.4m annually.
In 10M 2024, approximately 4,205 landed home leasing contracts worth nearly $43.4m were signed, up from 4,180 contracts worth $46.8m in 10M 2023.
Meanwhile, leasing demand for luxury landed homes may remain tepid in view of greater scrutiny over big-ticket landed home leasing transactions.
