The sector rose by 26.2% YoY.
Singapore’s manufacturing output rose by 8.5% YoY in November, EDB Singapore revealed.
On a sequential basis, manufacturing output decreased by 0.4%.
Excluding biomedical manufacturing, which recorded a 21.2% YoY contraction, manufacturing output in November would have increased by 13.0% YoY and 11.0% MoM.
Chemicals (-1.1% YoY), general manufacturing (-2.6% YoY), and transport engineering (-1.8% YoY) also reported contractions.
Clusters that reported increases were electronics and precision engineering, improving by 26.2% YoY and 0.6% YoY, respectively.
