It will leverage its multidisciplinary consultancy services in master planning.
Surbana Jurong Group (SJ) has signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with two Odisha state agencies to collaborate on energy and urban development projects in Odisha, India.
The MOUs were signed with Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) for the positioning for Odisha Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR), and with Bhubaneswar Development Authority for a new city development plan.
SJ said it will leverage its multidisciplinary consultancy services in master planning, urban design, architectural design, engineering, and project management to deliver these projects in Odisha.
Previously, SJ company SMEC has engineered the 9-kilometre Atal Tunnel, the world’s longest highway tunnel above an altitude of 10,000 feet, shortening travel time between communities in the Himalayas.
The company is also working on the Noida International Airport aiming to enhance the connectivity of the National Capital Region and Western Uttar Pradesh with the world.
