908,000 people visited Singapore in January 2010

Recorded as the highest ever in the month of January, visitor arrivals to Singapore grew by 17.6% year-on-year.

The biggest groups of visitors were Indonesians, Chinese, Australians, Malaysians and Indians.

According to the Singapore Tourism Board, Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) rose by 9.4% to reach S$150 in January 2010, the first year-on-year growth in 16 months.
